A Fungal Journey- Connecting More Deeply with Mushrooms- Nina O'Malley
Mushrooms have medicines and personalities that can heal us - not just through their physical medicinal properties, but through direct communication. Once you take the time to communicate with a mushroom, it can offer deep healing for yourself and those in your life on a mental, spiritual, emotional and/or physical level. Our ancestors cultivated relationships with these spirits and these practices have almost been forgotten. In this workshop, Nina will guide you through a journey to connect more deeply with a mushroom. This approach can be used with many other plants and fungi, and this journey will help you open the way to the plant and fungal wisdom available right outside your doorstep. Please bring something comfortable to lay on, an eye cover, and a journal.

Cultivating Relationships with Queendom Fungi - Charlie Aller
We will have demonstrations of growing on coffee grounds and cardboard, and discuss how to optimize growth on whatever you have locally available. Since cultivating relationships is a long and intimate process, we will begin the journey with some observational methods and tips that will help you see what a fungus is telling you with its form. We will go over several different low tech methods, including heat pasteurization, cold pasteurization, and fermentation methods with whatever materials are on hand.

Elizabeth will be teaching about how water becomes contaminated, how the laws concerning contaminated sites work and bioaccumulationa and biomagnification. She will also be discussing how you can be involved in environmental justice.

CHANGES IN FUNGAL DIVERSITY WALK-
Zaac Chaves
This workshop will largely be a walk focused on details and noticing. We will endeavor to archive identification to the species level. Before embarking this particular walk will start on a sombre note regarding disappearing species of fungi including some forest management trends along with the most greenwashed of ecocidal trends.  Bring a loupe or borrow one and prepare for a glorious spectacle.
