This course is designed for bioremediators, mycologists, and ecologists who are ready to take their skills to a new level. If you are new to mycology but very interested, you are encouraged to apply and complete required reading before the beginning of the course.

What to Expect:
Meals This event offers 3 meals a day from August 6-9. We WILL be catering to ALL meal types but please be clear on food allergies & intolerances when you register. Food is being prepped and cooked on site throughout the event.
Camping Camping is included in your registration. Registrants are welcome and encouraged to camp on the night of Sunday 8/5 to be ready for action on Monday morning. Please be READY for all weather conditions. It is very possible it will rain. Ticks live in the Hudson Valley!! Bug repellent, tall socks, pants and hats are recommended. TICK CHECK DAILY! Please note: This event will be almost entirely outdoors. Participants are expected to provide their own tent, sleeping bag, etc. Hot outdoor showers will be limited. We plan make it as comfortable as possible, but if you think you'd be more comfortable in a bed and breakfast or a motel, we encourage you to find one--there are many options in Wingdale and the surrounding area. It is our intention to make this event as equally accessible to everyone as possible, and we are doing our best to accommodate everyone's physical abilities, physical and emotional needs, children, income levels, and cultural backgrounds. As we are balancing many needs, and have a very limited budget we apologize if we cannot meet your needs.
Cancellation Policy NO REFUNDS. Please consider this a donation if you do decide you can’t attend. Another option is to offer someone else in your place instead. Please notify us if you do want to swap names on the registry.
Drug and Alcohol Policy Drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited, are not appropriate for such an academically rigorous, family friendly event. We encourage participants to make full use of this learning opportunity, and stay focused and clear-headed. Use of illegal substances put the organizers and other participants in danger, and are grounds for being asked to leave with no refund.
